CAD Designer

DESCRIPTION
The CAD Designer's main role is to document existing and new install hardware in support of the migration project. This position will work under the direction of the Project Engineer and in conjunction with the Plant Electrician and Computer Instrumentation Techs.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will interface with the project team, plant personnel and contractors to support project CAD drawing and design efforts in addition to the project document control and management.

The CAD Designer will work with the Project Engineer and plant staff on the verification and creation of current AS IS drawings in addition to the new, "AS BUILT" and record drawings.

SKILLS:

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Associates degree in Electrical Science or Industrial Electronics preferred
5-10 years related CAD design experience; preferably with Microstation V8i
MS Office Suite
Experience with PROJECTWISE a plus
Programmable Logic Controller maintenance or usage experience is desired
