BUSINESS OBJECT (BO)   ANALYST AND PROGRAMMER 3 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

DESCRIPTION OF TASKS

TASKS

Analysis and documentation of requirements following the standards and methodologies established by the Contracting Authority

Creation of Prototypes

Developing/maintenance of applications that reflect the specifications

Definition and integration of technological components

Integration of IT systems with other applications/subsystems

Production of all the required technical documentation following the standards and methodologies established by the Contracting Authority

Assistance with providing training to the administrators and end-users of the system (s)

Assistance with deployment and configuration of the system (s)

Participation in the evaluation and testing of products/applications in order to ensure that they conform to the predefined standards and requirements by using the standards an methodologies established by the Contracting Authority

Formulation/elaboration/execution of test cases/programs

Participation in meetings with the Contracting authority and user groups

Participation in the creation of universes, reports, dashboards, etc. based on Business Objects

Participation in the administration of the Business Objects server

Participation in database programming (ORACLE10g)

OTHER

Specific expertise:
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Business Objects (Reports, universes, dashboards, Designer XI, Webi XI, Deski, etc.)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Capability of integration in an international/multicultural environment, rapid self-starting capability and experience in team working

Ability to cope with fast changing technologies use in application developments

Basic knowledge of Rational Unified Process (RUP) software development methodology

Good knowledge of software modelling (UML)

Very good knowledge of Oracle 10g (and/or 9i, 11g) Database Management System

Very good knowledge of SQL and/or PL/SQL programming

Good knowledge of Data Warehousing and ETL tools

Excellent knowledge of Business Objects XI (egDesigner XI, Webi XI, Deski, Central Management Console, Business Objects SDK, etc)

Very good knowledge of English (both written and oral)
