Our client, a tier 1 Investment Bank is undertaking a global data warehouse transformation programme in line with new regulatory requirements. The programme is designed to provide a solution for the production of financial, regulatory and risk reporting. The programme is focused around the creation of a single financial data warehouse which combines all of the financial and reference data required to satisfy the reporting and regulatory requirements.

The current position is looking for a business analyst to assist in the development of this data warehouse under the regulatory requirements, with a focus on Basel III.

Duties will include:

Analyzing current data feeds and processes mapping
Gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
Working with SMEs to develop new front to back processes
Developing user acceptance testing plans
Meeting all key deliverables in line with key programme milestones

Key skills required:

In-depth Data warehouse experience
Knowledge of regulatory requirements - Basel III - REQUIRED
Investment Banking background with front to back knowledge of: Fixed Income, Equities, Commodities, Derivatives, FX
Experience working as Business Analyst on large scale financial transformation programmes
Strong understanding of reference data, counterparty data and instrument data.
Excellent Data Modeling skills and the ability to manipulate multiple complex data streams.
Finance/accounting background
