For a high profile project at our insurance client in Zurich we are looking for a

BUSINESS ANALYST - DATA STANDARDS & ANALYTICS (5461)

Our client is looking to on-board data in to its data repository. To support this endeavor, we are immediately looking for a Business Analyst with a focus on Data Standards, Management and Analytics.

Overall goal for 2018 in this project is do define data standards in order to provide a foundation for operational decision making in 2019.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- BACKGROUND IN WORKING FOR LARGE COMPANIES, IDEALLY WITHIN THE INSURANCE INDUSTRY (ALTHOUGH THAT IS NOT A MUST HAVE CRITERION)
- EXPERIENCE IN DATA ANALYTICS, GAP ANALYSIS, REVIEW AND SELECTION OF EFFECTIVE MATCHING MECHANISMS
- EXPERIENCE WITH MDM
- Experience working with the business and developers and holding a coordination function
- Experience working with a diversified multi-location team
- Strong problem-solving skills & ability to learn in a fast-paced environment
- FLUENT IN ENGLISH

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Define minimum data set for effective management of the business
- Gap analysis between defined data and currently available data
- Collection and comparison of current identifiers
- Review and selection of effective matching mechanisms
- Leverage MDM where possible
- Align with business lines
- Adapt data acquisition process
- Define/develop initial data quality checks
