Business Analyst - Data and Business Intelligence/Solvency II

For a project at our client - an international insurance company in Zurich - we are looking for an experienced

BUSINESS ANALYST - DATA AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE/SOLVENCY II (3554)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:

- Practical experience in business analysis, ideally combined with project manager/project management experience
- (Java) Development experience is a big plus
- EXPERIENCE IN SOLVENCY II OR OTHER REGULATORY REQUIREMENTS EG BASEL 3
- STRONG INSURANCE SKILLS, PARTICULARLY NON-LIFE
- Analytical skills and attention to the details and the "end-to-end picture" with strong business focus
- Development and assessment of options in terms of functionality and efficiency together with the stakeholders, the Department and other IT professionals
- EXPERIENCE IN DATA AND BUSINESS INTELLIGENCE PROJECTS
- Ability also to report findings and results to senior management
- Very independent way of working
- ENGLISH IS A MUST

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Information gathering activities such as surveying, analysing and evaluating processes, products and services, by using a variety of internal and/or external data
- Determining required solutions and assisting in implementations
- Documenting as is and to be processes and business requirements documents
- Supporting project management tasks in the areas of quality control and project management
- Coordinating the work of more Junior Analysts
- Creation and review of test cases
