Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst
Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits and other appropriate techniques.
Business Analyst with work diplomatically with stake holders to distinguish business problems and opportunities from perceived solution across multiple locations.
The Business Analyst with analyse, define and manage requirements using appropriate techniques.
Work with Stake holders and Technical Architects to develop concepts, define value-add solutions and produce business cases.
Skills and Attributes
Requirement gathering skills including workshop facilitation.
Business process analysis, modelling, re-engineering and mapping, requirements capture, business case, business and functional specification
production, data-modelling, reporting and MI
Knowledge of software development methodology's.
Has successfully worked in development environment
Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
Ability to define the Business Analysis tasks required to achieve the project objective and to carry them out without supervision or input.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
Proven experience of working on data warehousing/rating/underwriting related projects in General Insurance is essential.
