Business Intelligence Manager - London - Pharmaceuticals - Up to £70K

We are now working with a mid sized pharma in the West London area who are now at the critical stage in their development and require a new Business Intelligence manager for their Marketing and Corporate Development to influence critical decisions.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Market Analysis - Exploring and developing the business intelligence for new factors, territories and developing new dynamics around parallel trade and the impact of new generics.

Product Analysis - You will be key to understanding the competitor activities, understanding their trends and present these trends to senior management. Additionally to this you will obtain and analyse forecast data and KPI data.

Unlike the average Business Intelligence Manager role you will have a direct line into senior management and be critical in future Pipeline decisions and product acquisitions.

The dual nature of this role will carry real weight within the company and potentially provide a strong stepping stone into Corporate Development and strategic planning within a larger organisation

PERSON SPECIFICATION

Degree level education preferably in science or equivalent experience

Excellent interpersonal & communication skills

Another European language desirable

Technical skills & experience:

* Relevant experience in a business intelligence role within the pharmaceutical industry
* Competent computer skills in MS Office Suites & Database Management
* Desirable SQL skills (to perform advanced enquiries)
* Strong & effective Data Interpretation Skills
* Demonstrable experience in creating, interpreting & communicating complex data
* Clear understanding of product life cycle in the pharmaceutical industry from discovery through to life cycle management
* Essential pan european experience
* Relevant knowledge of forecasting, planning & scenario building
* Strong knowledge of interdependencies of the EU pharmaceutical markets
