Our client has a job vacancy for a Band 6 Home Treatment/Crisis Response Nurse to work in Liverpool. This vacancy has an initial 3 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 23-25 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
* Screening referrals from various agencies such as social services, community mental health teams and general practitioners
* Assessing cases to determine whether they meet the criteria for intervention in the community or to be admitted into hospital.
* Emergency assessments under the Mental Health Act.
* Supporting clients by working with secondary agencies such as housing, social services, counselling services, and financial institutions etc. on their behalf with the aim of alleviating any pressure that is being brought to bear on them that may be affecting their mental health.
* Participating in a team (doctors, nurses, social workers and occupational therapists) approach to discussion of cases and finding the best evidence based solutions.
* Very effective use of the electronic patients' records for the gathering of information on which to make clinical as well as other decisions, for surveys and for research purposes.

Requirement:
* All applicants must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (part 3 or 13) with a valid NMC registration.
* Applicants must have at least 2 years recent post registration experience working within mental health.
* Understanding by the post holder of their responsibilities under the Mental Health Act 1983.
