Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse - Older People

Our client has a job vacancy for a Band 6 Community Psychiatric Nurse to work within Older People's Services based in Lancashire. This vacancy has an initial 2 month contract and the pay rate for this role is 21-23 per hour (limited company worker).

Duties:
- Working alongside the care coordinator in assessing the needs and strengths of clients.
- Organising and participating in the admission, discharge and transfer of clients.
- Developing and maintaining a high standard of practice, based on assessments.
- Building effective working relationships with in-patients.
- Providing the team with relevant information in relation to caseloads.
- Liaising effectively with relevant agencies to ensure that an integrated programme of care is provided.

Requirement:
- All applicants must be a Registered Mental Health Nurse, with a valid NMC pin.
- Applicants must also have at least 2 years recent post qualified experience working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse within Older People's Services.
