Asset and Configuration Management Consultant

YOU MUST HAVE CURRENT SECURITY CLEARANCE and the HIGHER CLEARANCE the better.

Undertake analysis of the gathered asset, application and configuration information in order to:

- Identify Legacy applications or older versions of the supported applications,
- Provide a detailed inventory on all the managed IT assets and dependency (Software, Hardware and other services/applications)
- Undertake Onsite visits/Survey documentation.
- Define application and services metric baselines of the as-is environment.
- Develop a migration strategy proposal for the identified applications and services.
- Use (ARIS 6 and MS Visio 2010) to define the migration processes for applications & services strategy.
- You will have at least 5 years' experience in IT consolidation and centralisation projects and 5 years in Application Portfolio Management.
- You will also have practical experience in using BMC ITSM Remedy Atrium tools (specifically Application Discovery),
- BMC Service Desk Express,
- Microsoft System Centre Configuration Manager.
- You will have knowledge of Prince2 method, familiarity with ITIL v3, fluency in MS Office usage, experience in consolidation on various server platforms and application tools.
