Assembler Job

ASSEMBLERS are needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in ALBUQUERQUE, NM.

THE BIG PICTURE - TOP SKILLS SHOULD YOU POSSESS:

- Performs tasks associated with the various areas of assembly, plastics and inspection.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Read, interpret, and use appropriate documentation for the specific area, while performing electronic operations.
- Read, comprehend, and follow assembly-related engineering drawings,
- Military and NASA workmanship specifications, parts lists, wire lists, procedures; along with verbal instructions.
- Assemble complex cable and wire harnesses.
- Assemble and solder through-hole and surface mount parts onto Printed Wiring Assembly, Power Supply and Circuit Card Assembly and Chassis Assemblies.
- Knowledge of conformal coat process, including; adhesive boding applications, hand masking, hand brushing and spray.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- High School diploma required.
- A minimum of three (3) years on the job, high reliability electronics assembly and hand soldering experience.
- While in position required to obtain current certification status for: (depending on function) A. High Reliability Soldering B. High Reliability Crimping C. Electrostatic Damage D. Staking and Conformal Coating. Candidate must have knowledge of basic arithmetic calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division), experience measuring assembly-related hardware using tape measure and rules to + 1/32, and dial calipers to +0.010.
- This is a six (6) - twelve (12) month contract, paying between $12.75 - $16.00 per hour.
