NonStop Care is looking for a either an experienced Service Manager or Head of Service to join a growing and improving London Borough, in what could potentially be an opportunity that could see you transform and mould a borough into your own personal project.

You will be a Qualified Social Workers with over 3 years experience within a senior management position, ideally within both a child protection and intial assessment.

The Area Manager (Children, Young People and Family Support) will manage a multi disciplinary team including, Social Workers, Family Support Practitioners, Education Welfare Officers, Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMHS) Practitioners.

The post holder will also support the management of 'hosted' services, programmes and projects within their locality which offer more specific early intervention support across the borough.

Direct Reports (line responsibility) for 6-10 staff

Indirect Reports (line responsibility) for approximately 20 staff engaged in services within this team

To work closely with the other Area Managers within your locality and Borough wide to improve the outcomes for children, young people and their families living and/or attending school in a London Bourough, sharing ownership, responsibility and accountability for the delivery of CSLL priorities within a coordinated and consistent offer.

This role is on an interim basis on an initial 3 month contract with my client offering a generous salary.

You will be contracted to 37.5 hours a week and hold a UK driving licence and have your own car.
