My client is looking for a Windows (Wintel) Senior System Engineer.
The candidate will work to the innovation, the technical design and the development of a large Wintel Server infrastructure mostly virtualization, integration, OS build and virtualization.
The Senior System Engineer will report to an Infrastructure manager and the Team leader.
Your role...
As a Wintel Senior System Engineer, you carry out the following tasks:
Be part of a IaaS team implementing Cloud Technologies and in particular automation of services and provisioning (based on VMware/VRealize technology).
Service design and Process design.
Together with the Solution Architect and the Platform Architect, analyze Business requests and translate them into a Detailed Level Design related to the strategy.
Your profile
Knowledge and experience
5 years of IT experience with at least 3 years in the Wintel domain as System Engineer.
Knowledge of the Windows OS (Server 2008 & 2012)
Knowledge of Microsoft Cluster
Knowledge of VMware Virtualization.
Design and architecture skills.
French or Dutch or English.
Knowledge of Network and Storage is a plus.
Soft Skills
Strong communication skills.
Creative, analytical, forward thinking with advice capabilities.
Deadlines and planning respect.
Dynamic and well organized.
