Architect Engineer Web Services CATV

For one of our clients, we are looking for an Engineer or Architect who will be involved in the design, optimisation, software development, testing and implementation of end-to-end CATV head end solutions. Focus on the web services part, data and content exchange oa based on REST and SOAP, XML and TVA.

JOB DEMANDS ARCHITECT ENGINEER WEB SERVICES CATV

Ideal profile:

- MSc degree in IT or Telecommunications (Relevant equivalent experience also considered)
- More than 5 years of experience as an Engineer or an Architect role in Web services
- Theoretical and working knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture and ESB Web 2.0 and Web Services Technologies
- Experience with IP Networking
- Experience with XML and TVA
- Experience with REST and SOAP
- Preferably in a DTV/IPTV/CATV head end environment
- Experience with Linux
- Proven track record of active technical participation in engineering projects
- Must have excellent problem solving skills and attention for detail
- Behaviours Fluent in English (written and verbal)
