Applications Support Analyst

We have a position for an Applications Support Analyst/Systems Analyst with a fantastic organisation which will have you involved in the following functions:

- Providing superior applications support to internal users of core business systems;
- requirements analysis and involvement in stakeholder meetings;
- Perform data manipulations and data extractions as required by business users;
- Participate in testing applications and UAT testing;
- Develop complex queries with SQL to assist with troubleshooting and systems improvements;
- User training on production releases and assistance with knowledge transfer;
- Develop user manuals, guides and training documentation; and
- Manage technical documentation storage.

This role encompasses a broad range of skills and duties which will allow you to develop your competencies in new areas. There are also excellent opportunities for longer term progression into leadership positions, making this a great opportunity for someone who is keen on career progression.

Ideally you will have the following:

- Experience in the support of business systems, preferably with some development experience;
- Strong SQL skills to deal with complex theories and data manipulation;
- Exposure to some testing/UAT would be ideal;
- Excellent customer service skills;
- A strong understanding change control;
- Excellent written English and any documentation experience will be a valuable asset.
