Large Financial Services organisation is seeking a Applications Performance Engineer/Architect to tune applications to optimise performance

You will have the following skills/background:

- Development background, Senior Developer/Architect with extensive design experience is important and ability to read roadmaps.
- Performance Developer and Design experience, need to be able to look at applications from a performance perspective and identify code that could be tuned to optimise performance
- Identify risk from a performance capacity from reading roadmaps
- Design reviews, identify risk and mitigate it
- Risk Evaluation
- Test plans
- Test reviews - look at the results and make recommendations/changes
- Consulting to different business areas
- Role also encompasses SME for high-level incidents, so performs root cause analysis at code level, identify the problem and address it and then implement process to prevent re-occurrence
- Broad technology background
