Applications Packaging Specialist

Exciting opportunities have become available for multiple APPLICATIONS PACKAGING SPECIALISTS to support the delivery of a major infrastructure End User computing program.

The purpose of this position is to engage suitably experienced and skilled application packaging specialists to provide advanced technical and management skills in the analysis, packaging and testing of a large volume of software applications for delivery to end-users via traditional desktop, Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop, web-based UI and Thin Client architecture.

Your background:

- Extensive and demonstrated experience performing application packaging, remediation, discovery and definition, testing and deployment in a federated or multi-sourced environment - both as a packager and with some management skills and experience.
- Expert knowledge of; and experience in, application packaging toolsets (ADMINSTUDIO ENTERPRISE) and all associated advanced capabilities (packs) which include application compatibility assessment, desktop and virtualisation compatibility assessment, technical testing and remediation, configuration and transforms.
- Experience analysing and managing applications, detailing clear and succinct technical specifications and requirements, developing suitable support documentation and reporting.
- Superior problem solving skills and excellent lateral solution thinking to deliver robust and high quality outcomes relating application management.
- Proven experience working independently, as team member, and/or with multidisciplinary teams including project management and technical architects.
- Relevant Tertiary qualification or equivalent experience with at least 3 year's experience as a senior application packaging specialist.
- Good interpersonal skills including, an ability to communicate and influence effectively in technical and non-technical discussions.
