Application Architect Job

An APPLICATION ARCHITECT needed for a CONTRACT opportunity with Yoh's client located in Charlotte, NC.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

- Will only be 20-30% Programming
- This is a coaching, management role

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

- BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related technology degree, an MS preferred
- Five to ten (5 - 10) years developing application architecture elements especially robust valuation techniques, inclusive of Web, Desktop, and Mobile applications
- Strong Principals of Object Oriented Programming (OOP), Design Patterns, and High Availability Distributed Design
- Brokerage/Wealth management/Investment banking knowledge
- Strong background in Software Architecture Principals (UML), SOA, SAAS and Agile Process.
- Hands-on experience with any of the following: Java, J2EE, Struts, hibernate, springs, Webservices, .NET
- Hands on experience using SOAP, REST, Web API, JSON, etc.
- Knowledge of web based development including Angular Js, Bootstrap,HTML5, JavaScript (jquery), AJAX, CSS3
- Mobile/Web frameworks and Digital architecture patterns
- Experience in writing native Android and/or iOS applications on mobile phones and/or tablets
- Must have experience in developing/architecting customer facing web applications (large user base) in large financial services customers
- Experience with all elements of change control
- Experience with all major forms of quality assurance
- Experience in developing project scoping and scaling deliverables
- Strong software engineering process skills
- Strong verbal and written presentation skills
- Proven capacity to work independently and manage multiple, competing demands
- Able to take high level requirements and develop software architecture with minimum supervision
- Requires specific experience with particular software platforms: Wintel, Linux, Active Directory, SQL, Oracle, Big Data, Analytics, Monitoring, Workflow/BPM, Business Services, TIBCO, Data Streaming, Collaboration, DataPower, Cisco, VPN, Web, Mobile, Cloud, SaaS, PaaS, MaaS
