Application Architect/Java

We are looking for APPLICATION ARCHITECTS with expertise in Java to join our team in Brussels working with the EUROPEAN COMMISSION.

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible of modelling, developing and integration of new information systems.

- Knowledge of the design and development of web applications;
- Knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture
- Knowledge of web technologies and standards (eg HTML5, XML);
- Expertise in Java-related technologies, including J2EE, EJB, JSP, JDBC,
- Good knowledge of Log4J, XML/XSL/XSLT, XQuery, XPath and Oracle WebLogic;
- Good knowledge of Spring Framework and aspect oriented programming;
- Good knowledge of relational database management systems Oracle SQL, PL/SQL;
- Affinity with cloud computing and IT security;
- Excellent English or French communication skills, both oral and written.
