Analytics Consultant - Data Scientist

My client a leader, a leader in its field requires a Data Scientist to lead key Customer Analytics & Modeling projects that assist the client to increase revenue, decrease costs and improve customer experience. Customer Analyticsand then into a digestible format for business stakeholders that clearly articulate the key correlations and relationships identified within the data and the business value associated with using these insights to drive business decisions.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders across marketing, product and sales teams to develop both the analytical hypotheses and the recommendations from the analysis and identify where support is required to influence adoption.
- Communicate progress of projects and key findings upwards and sidewards within the organisation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

DATA MINING - Highly proficient technical data mining and statistical analysis skills including proficiency with key analytical software such as SAS, R and SPSS and large data warehouses.

COLLABORATION - Ability to establish a collaborative approach to analysis projects from understanding the business problem and opportunity to defining data requirements, identification of insights, development of recommendations for key actions and implementation of change (including value add measurement).

CONSULTING - Able to effectively apply internal consulting techniques to establish relationships with key stakeholders, and clearly scope out programs of work to develop and implement the necessary analytics capabilities to achieve desired results.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT - Understands project management approaches such as Prince2 or others, and applies them effectively in ensuring that stakeholders understand what is required from them, resources required are planned for, dependencies on other areas are understood, communicated and managed, key milestones are defined with timeframes and projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.

COMMUNICATION - Ability to translate complex business problems and technical information into clearly articulated and logical presentations that clearly and effectively communicate to senior stakeholders the insights and outcomes from Analytical projects and what decisions and actions are necessary to capture value.
