AIX IBM Power Systems Engineer - Milton Keynes - 1 Month Rolling

My client, a leading global IT Managed Services provider are looking for an AIX IBM Power Systems Engineer to come in and join their team for an initial 1 month contract. The perfect candidate has had three or more years exposure to:

- Hands on experience of building AIX 5.3, 6.1 & 7.1
- Exposure to VIO Servers, micro partitioning and HMC
- IBM Power 7 & Blades technology exposure
- HACMP & Power HA knowledge up to the level of building cluster, configuring and testing
- AIX tuning experience
- Network & VLANS exposure for building virtual Lpars through VIO servers
- Exposure to using NIM
- Exposure to installing customer installable pSeries hardware (Blades & mid-range systems) The perfect candidate also has
- Exposure of BMC performance monitoring product
- WPAR AIX 5.2 & 5.3 exposure
