We have a new request for a statistician advanced.

* 2 to 4 years' experience as statistician in product development (non-clinical)
* Pharmaceutical industry experience is a must
* Good communication skills (fluency in English)
* Proven experience with JMP and/or SAS

Mission Description:
Analyzes and interprets data from various sources, within the Technical Operation department. Compiles reports, charts, and tables based on established statistical methods. Provides statistical consultancy in relation with method/process transfer and validation, product homogeneity and stability, process optimization and control.

Mission responsibilities:
The statistician analyzes and interprets data from various sources. He compiles reports, charts, and tables based on established statistical methods. Statisticians design and manage experiments and surveys, and deal with the initial collection of data. They process and analyze the data in context, looking for patterns to help make decisions. They advise on findings and recommend strategy. Often with the aid of mathematical techniques and software, statisticians interpret data and communicate results. They ensure that complex statistical concepts are explained in a way the client can understand and often advise on strategy.

She/he will provide statistical consultancy in relation with method/process transfer and validation, product homogeneity and stability, process optimization and control. The person will be responsible for designing the experiments, analysing the data, and writing reports and/or presentations for internal and/or external clients, including Regulatory Authorities. She/he will also develop/give training packages for end users.

She/he should be familiar with fixed and mixed effects ANOVA models variance component decomposition, regression analysis, multivariate analysis, repeated measures, categorical data analysis, non-parametric statistics, statistical process control and experimental designs.

Proficiency with JMP and SAS (base, stat) is expected.
Other statistical packages knowledge is an asset. We look for someone who has a good customer oriented view and who has the flexibility and willingness to develop a good base understanding (not directly linked to statistics) of the different supported areas (bioassays, analytical chemistry, process chemistry, packaging, etc). She/he must be capable to deal with very different issues coming from different areas at the same time. The person should have good communication and teaching skills.

Specific professional/technical expertise and key skills required:
* Bachelor degree + master degree with a scientific-mathematical background (mathematics, applied mathematics, engineer). PhD in statistics is an asset
* Min years' experience required: 2-4 years of experience as statistician in product development (non-clinical) within the pharmaceutical industry
* Other industry experience (pharmaceutical in clinical or preclinical, Chemistry industry, Food industry) may be considered
* International experience is a plus
* Language skills: English fluent, French is an asset

Reason Request: Volume of business
Hours per week: 8 hours/days per week; Time - indicatively from 09.00 to 18.00
Duration of the assignment: 6 months with possible extension
