ABAP Developer - GBT/GBS (m/w/d)

We are currently looking for an ABAP Developer for one of our customers.

Description:
Connection of SAP GBT (Global Batch Traceability) to SAP "United (GBS)" in all current production and business units managed by SAP "United (GBS)". The services will be provided within the framework of an agile development method.

The project itself consist of developing interfaces between the SAP GBT system and the SAP "United GBS" system in order to communicate the information gathered by GBT into the main system of the company with the general objective of tracing their produces batches.
It is very important to have a person able to identify coding issues, correct them or develop programs from zero in order to succeed with the project objectives!

Important to know:
+ data collected from source ERPs are often extremely complex, may contain errors, may be difficult to reproduce in tests systems, may be non-unique and, especially the older ones may not meet currently applied process standards
+ development in GBT requires diligence, good data understanding, intelligence & creativity in delivering solutions that mitigate the impact of often low quality source data on the final reporting.

Sprints every 2 weeks, with the following ceremonies:
1. Daily standup
2. Weekly Backlog Refinement meeting
3. Monthly Sprint Retrospective
4. Biweekly Sprint Planning

The scope of services includes the following tasks:
+ Writing Code in SAP GBT according to the specifications reviewed during the different meetings (described above)of the project
+ Programming GBT-related solutions in 2 interfaced SAP ERP systems (source data in S4Hana and non-S4Hana systems)
+ Correct programs by re-writing the code and generate root cause analysis which are documents with the result of the analysis of an error identified, this is initiated by the discussions in the above-mentioned meetings
+ Deliver feasibility studies by creating a word document or an email with the result from the analysis generated after planned enhancements in the daily meetings
+ Creation of technical documentation SDS (system design specification) with the detail of the program generated
+ Work on enhancements, changes, incidents: amendments of existing solutions, delivery of new ones all in the arena of the GBT Project
+ Debugging and Analysis performance of different existing programs in GBT to support the consultant’s tasks for achieving the final goal of connecting GBT and GBS

REQUIRED
+ Good understanding of logistics data structures and process flow: PP-PI, MM, SD, LE
+ ABAP OO
+ Web Dynpro ABAP
+ ABAP experience with S4H and non-S4H ERP systems
+ Fluent English - spoken & written

DESIRED
+ Interfacing technologies: ALE/IDOCs, RFC/API, WebServices
+ Authorisations - to work both via SAP GUI as well via WebUI
+ Basic Basis skills
+ Problem analysis: Extensive debugging, tracing, ability to write SQL queries in SAP (via DB02)
+ Willingness to learn (GBT specific datamodel)
+ Intellectual independence, drive for innovation, cross-systems thinking
+ Experience in programming SAP systems that are validated and follow GxP criteria
