A/V Technician

For this position as an A/V TECHNICIAN, with a world-renowned computer manufacturing company, you will be performing a variety of A/V support and other tech support activities. Your responsibilities will include analysis of audio/visual equipment and operating systems; hardware and software installations; user administration; troubleshooting; documentation; and application configuration.

SPECIFIC A/V RESPONSIBILITIES - (CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT, TROUBLESHOOTING)

- Provide excellent customer service
- Troubleshoot A/V System with minimal use of BKMs
- Troubleshoot projectors
- Troubleshoot portable sound systems
- Build GC3 File/Update Firmware/Remove and Add Drivers
- Track and update Wireless Microphone frequencies, group and channel spreadsheet
- Understand AMX Functionality (Reboot Touch Panel if required)
- Understand Extron Touch Panel Functionality (Reboot Touch Panel)
- Assist Level 1

REQUIREMENTS:

- 1-3 years related work experience
- Hands-on A/V support experience
- Hands-on experience with of hardware platforms
- Solid troubleshooting skills
- Experience with remote access, VPN, and backup/recovery
- A+ certification preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Must be able to pass 10 year criminal background check, drug screen
- Capable of lifting 70 lbs.
